I found a lot of interesting information on your blog.
I did think that overall it felt a little unfocused. I had a hard time relating all of the blog entries to one subject and the idea of culture seems very broad.
I did however find all of the individual posts to be very informative and the opinion blogs to be very well written.
I like the layout of your project, and the overall flow of the site. It's really easy to read, and the articles are interesting. I would agree a bit with Mark, the topics of the blog didn't all flow together, and felt a little disjointed. But, they did share a common theme and that makes the other problem forgettable.
